Hello, I am Abbey Wass and welcome to my blog. I am a twenty-two year old journalist and graduate from the University of Portsmouth, I have a BA (Honours) degree in Journalism and English literature and I run my own magazine called Hooked on Horses; a regional equestrian magazine which is based in Essex.

I have always been creative and interested in the arts; particularly design, editing and creative writing, and alongside my magazine I write book reviews for Novelicious.com ; I also enjoy painting landscapes and taking lots of photos.

I live on a farm in Essex with four horses, six chickens and my dog; my passion alongside writing is horses, particularly the sport of Eventing. If I’m not out on the yard or out and about around the county reporting at various horse shows, you can find me snuggled up with a book in a quiet corner.
I am currently looking for London/South East based journalism and editorial work. Please feel free to contact me if you know of any part time or freelance vacancies.
